GNG Fundações Especiais is a member of the Brazilian Association of Foundation and Geotechnical Engineering Companies (ABEF), a non-profit organization founded in 1980 to bring together the most important Brazilian companies in the sector.

The Association’s main functions include the technical improvement of foundation and geotechnical engineering practices and the creation and updating of the Foundation and Geotechnical Execution Manual – Recommended Practices, a reference work in both academic and professional settings. ABEF is also the creator and organizer of the Special Foundation Engineering Seminar (SEFE), a triennial event internationally recognized as one of the best in the sector.
